Club Nights
The theme was Summer!
We meet every Thursday. Our beginners arrive for 6.45pm and everyone else ready for 7.30pm. The programme varies, sometimes a theme such as silly songs like "Three Wheels on my Wagon" and "He played his ukulele as the ship went down", sometimes a Country night with check shirts and songs like "Roseville Fair" and "Hard Times". More photos of theme nights on our photo pages.

Just a quick line from an absolute beginner. Came along last night for my first time.
Thanks for a very enjoyable evening - well worth a pound! I look forward to the next time.
Ocasionally we have a "serious" night when we practice songs for the next set of gigs.
Songs vary from easy to difficult, from 1890's to almost modern day! Members also make suggestions for their favourite song or a medley for gigs. We are up to 525 songs and they are all on Dropbox.
We have over eighty in our membership and usually about 12 to 15 are able to spare time for the bookings we have. At weekends even more members can play and at Hartlebury we had 23 members out and at Matt's Guitar Weekend we had 22 players.
On the first Thursday of the month we have "Spot" night when in among the general programme we have members entertaining us. This is good for several reasons as members often sing us songs that we then put in our repetoire or we listen to a newly written song or we hear something which is too difficult for a group to perform together. Here is John being "Spiderman" Next photo is Martin doing his first solo spot. Graham and John are re-enacting "The Old Bazaar in Cairo"
Our girls, Anna, Ursula,Ann and Jane singing "Move Over Darling"
to John who is a massive Doris Day fan!
